Volume determination is critical for determining the grade of the ore in diamond mining, and accurately mapped locations of drifts will also be important to diamond mining. Accurately mapping the location of drifts is also important to the operation’s safety when the open-pit mine becomes operational. Shore Gold Inc. required a complete enough data set for determining volume determinations.
